TWO, now defunct, dominated building inspections in Colorado, then spread to other states before moving their IT support from ANS/WA to another company who then spent TWO into the ground.

Did this: Designed intraNet site for a major metropolitan newspaper and a smaller associated newspaper that cataloged all systems containing or potentially containing processors liable to the Y2K “bug.” Designed and documented scenarios for Y2K testing and advised their information-systems professionals in implementing said tests. Developed the site and extensively indexed it using HTML-sensitive tools developed in Visual BASIC. Documented Y2K compliance by hardware and software vendors via links to the Internet. Personally validated Y2K compliance of eight applications written in Microsoft Access with extensive use of Visual BASIC for Applications.

Did this: Reverse-engineered ten-year-old Informix application running on AIX system for managing Homeowners Associations, working from no application documentation and minimal system documentation. Developed shell scripts for extracting the data, and a filter for converting the data to a Timberline realty-management application using Visual BASIC software development tools.

- Initiated client-server solution architecture utilizing DEC ULTRIXTM servers and MS-DOSTM PC clients to address $100M federal-government procurement.
- Managed customer-site delivery of consulting services to an aerospace customer for program earning $1M in revenue; technologies demonstrated included a proprietary object-oriented manufacturing application, VAX/VMS servers using multiple RDBMS products and supporting MS-DOSTM- and MacintoshTM-based applications spanning LAN/WAN.
- Handled technical sales support for telecommunications customer resulting in multi-year application-development project for legal department, generating over $10M in revenues; custom development based on VAXTM VMSclusterTM systems, ALL-IN-1TM IOS, and MS-DOSTM clients.

Presented results of project to Congressional subcommittee.
- Designed and built prototypes for advanced, multi-million-dollar geophysical integrated-engineering application using ACMS transaction processing, TDMS forms management, and CODASYL DBMS on VAX/VMS mainframe systems.
- Trained application programmers in use of prototyping techniques and DBMS.
